The best scenario to use this strategy is when you believe you can move your own checkers faster than the opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the board; 2) all your checkers have past your opponent’s checkers; or 3) the opposing player doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary goal of the blocking technique, by its title, is to stop your opponent’s chips, temporarily, not worrying about moving your checkers rapidly. As soon as you’ve created the blockage for your competitor’s movement with a few checkers, you can shift your other pieces swiftly off the game board. You really should also have an apparent strategy when to extract and move the checkers that you used for blocking. The game gets interesting when the competitor utilizes the same blocking tactic.
