The goal of the Running Game strategy is to lure all your chips into your inside board and pull them off as fast as you can. The ideal time to employ this strategy is when you believe you might be able to shift your own pieces quicker than the opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer checkers on the game board; 2) all your checkers have past your competitor’s chips; or 3) your opponent doesn’t use the hitting or blocking plan.

The Blocking Game Tactic

The primary aim of the blocking plan, by the title, is to stop the opponent’s checkers, temporarily, while not fretting about moving your pieces rapidly. Once you’ve established the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a few checkers, you can move your other checkers swiftly from the game board. The player should also have a good plan when to back off and shift the chips that you utilized for blocking. The game gets intriguing when your opposition utilizes the same blocking tactic.
