The ideal scenario to use this tactic is when you think you can move your own chips quicker than the opponent does: when 1) you have less chips on the game board; 2) all your checkers have moved beyond your competitor’s checkers; or 3) your opposing player does not use the hitting or blocking technique.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary aim of the blocking tactic, by its name, is to stop the opponent’s chips, temporarily, not fretting about moving your chips rapidly. As soon as you have established the barrier for the competitor’s movement with a couple of checkers, you can shift your other checkers swiftly off the board. You really should also have a good plan when to back off and shift the checkers that you utilized for blocking. The game gets interesting when the competitor uses the same blocking strategy.
